My Situation:
Well as I said, I'm 34 single, meaning divorced over 10 years. Well, here it goes. For the last ten years I've raised my 2 daughters, cared for a mother whos a cancer survivor and cared for my grandmother who has altimers (sp?). During this time I also worked 60 to 80 hours a week while doing the above, (I have a stress related sleeping disorder which caused my trips to the hospital.) Was hospitalized twice for exhaustion. I know it may seem impossible but I actually had time for everyone and everything but myself. My last companion left for Chicago to care for her mother after she had a stroke, and I have been single for almost a year and a half.
What I do: I work with children at a latchkey program for schools, occasionally special needs children in the morning 6:30 to 9:30 MON, TUE, THUR and FRI and work for a data storage/management company anytime between 12:00pm to 12:00am Monday thru Friday but i'm usually out around 9:30pm. Weekends are house hold chores and cleaning or spending time with my kids. What I want: I am looking for a disease free companion for the occasional weekday/night time fun but usually every other weekend some months it will be only 1 weekend. I'm a simple non-materialistic person. I'm not broke or a tight wad with money I just have priorities, you know food for my family, a car, a roof over my head. These are a higher priority than me getting laid. Much rather cook for you and stay home enjoying your company. Dont get me wrong we can and will go out sometime. But remember, I still have responsibilities. I would prefer long term, I am a creature of habit and if thing eventually lead further I'm ok with that, but for right now I am not looking to have more kids or get married. My Issue: Expirence can be a cruel teacher, and in mine it has repeatedly shown me that my friends, family and lover/wife/girlfriend/companion don't mix. We wont be hanging out with my friends or family anytime soon this is time set aside for me and that certin someone, "hopefully you." Also as a side note, I've lost 50+ lbs and hope to continue to do so, but if a thick guy is something your NOT COMFORTABLE, just let me know.
